Yes, rabies is 100% fatal once symptoms appear — but it is also 100% preventable with timely treatment. This is why immediate medical attention after an animal bite is critical. The vaccine series, when given correctly and on schedule, provides full protection.

The standard Post-Exposure Prophylaxis (PEP) protocol involves 4-5 doses given over 28 days. The schedule is typically Day 0, Day 3, Day 7, Day 14, and Day 28 (if needed). Our physicians will determine the exact schedule based on your exposure category and history.

We are open daily from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. We are always available for emergency animal bite treatment. For urgent cases outside regular hours, please call 0915 195 6330.

Walk-ins are welcome, especially for emergency animal bite cases. However, we recommend booking an appointment online or by phone (0915 195 6330) to minimize waiting time for general consultations and other services.
